🛠️ Emulator – Retarder Controller EST-52, EST-54 DAF, MAN, IVECO

The subject of sale is a version v2 emulator manufactured by TruckEmu intended for self-assembly in the truck installation.

🔧 Application:

The emulator causes the proper operation of truck systems such as engine, brakes and gearbox operation in the event of damage or lack of the factory intarder / retarder controller EST-52, 52 for Daf XF 105 and 106 vehicles, as well as MAN and Iveco.

⚙️ How does it work?

The electronics simulate the presence of a functional EST-52, EST-54 controller in the vehicle’s CAN network:
– reporting the system in the CAN network,
– broadcasting programmed CAN data,
– responses to CAN controller requests.

* NOTE: The emulator does not restore the intarder function. The emulator simulates the behavior of a functioning intarder in the network, which announces the lack of activity to other units.

After correct connection, it ensures efficient operation of, among others, the gearbox in the vehicle, no errors and the possibility of continuing driving.

The emulator is sold in two versions:

1. DAF – with a factory 12-pin plug! – its installation is trivially simple
(disconnect the plug from the retarder, plug in the emulator and it’s done!)

2. MAN, Iveco – emulator with 4 cables and an attached description of the pins for installation in the vehicle harness – requires knowledge of the basics of vehicle electrics.

A miniature PCB with electronics (approx. 20 x 40 mm + housing)
prepared for connection in the installation.

DC + 24V power supply – 2 wires

CAN signal – 2 wires

Emulator encapsulated in heat shrink tubing with glue + housing – weather resistant.

LED diode – emulator operation signal
